Steve Swetman has been a member of the Rochester Police Department for five years. Steve started off his B.O.H.A. career by being recognized as the “Most Junior Officer” during the annual cake cutting ceremony at the first Policeman’s Ball hosted by the Badge of Honor Association in 2008. Steve has since then moved through the ranks of B.O.H.A. and is now an Executive Director. Steve was a major factor in the success of the 5th Annual Cop-a-Polooza held in August 2011. He has been a member of B.O.H.A. since 2010. Steve’s father, Doug Swetman, retired as a Captain from the Monroe County Sheriffs Department after 23 years of service.
